Since moving to Tahoe City in 1977 from upper Michigan, Mark has become a leader in his community, as well as consistently a top producer in the real estate industry.  In 1983 he was the Tahoe Sierra Multiple Listing Service Realtor Associate of the year and in 2008 he was voted Best North Tahoe Realtor in the Best of Truckee and North Lake Tahoe People Choice publication.  During the period of January 2012 to May 2020 (as far back as current MLS statistic go) Mark ranks number 4 for sales volume on the California North and West shores.  

He and his wife Linda have three grown children, all raised in the North Lake Tahoe area.  Mark was President of the Tahoe City Rotary Club for the 1988/1989 and the 1997/1998 years.  He is also Paul Harris Fellow.  He has coached A.Y.S.O. soccer and is supportive of the local schools and their extracurricular programs.
